Dexter: Original Sin – A Riveting Prequel Exploring the Origins of Miami’s Dark Vigilante

The prequel series have Patrick Gibson as young dexter (tv series) and Michael C. Hall as the voice inside Dexter’s head. It premiered in 2006 and is about dexter (tv series)who is shifting from a student to a vigilante serial killer in 1991 Miami. 

As much as he struggles to avoid reverting to being a killer like his father, when the desire to kill becomes irresistible, dexter (tv series) is forced to embrace his evil side. Together with his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he applies a Code meant to identify and eliminate those worth eradicating from society without attracting the attention of the police. 

This is quite a challenge especially to the young Dexter who embarks on a forensic internship at Miami Metro Police Department.”

In the trailer of the movie, Slater said to Gibson that he has to adapt to the society. As the volumes filled in one misstep, one incorrect decision instantly destroys the existence and the lifetime of mine and my sister. He said, “This is who I am, who I need to be.” 

Knowing that I have learned my code was the initial step, developing it enough for it to come alive is an entirely new ball game.

dexter (tv series): Original Sin also features Molly Brown, Christina Milian, James Martinez, Alex Shimizu, Reno Wilson, Patrick Dempsey and the special guest Sarah Michelle Gellar.

The 10-episode drama was executive produced by Clyde Phillips and produced by Showtime Studios and Counterpart Studios. 

Other members of the executive producers are Scott Reynolds Hall, Mary Leah Sutton, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns while the series producer is Robert Lloyd Lewis.

dexter (tv series): Original Sin premieres on December 13 for Paramount+ with Showtime and digitally on December 15.
