A Quick Recap: What is Silo?

Explicitly, Silo is a post-apocalyptic novel, to be exact, as it is set in a vast, underground silo which was created for people to live in after the world is uninhabitable any more. The silo itself has a gigantic number of levels thousands of them, ranging from farming and habitation to the tightly secured ‘cleaning’ floors.

The rules that govern the working of a silo are of the tight knit variety and of the most pertinent of these is the rule that forbids a look out. It is a form of suicide where anyone who wants to go “outside,” is directed to the poisonous environment outside what they call “cleaning”.

The show largely revolves around Juliette Nichols, a mechanic with a history of abuse in the silo who learns more about its nature than intended by its leadership and about specific forces governing the silo.

Juliette is suddenly made the sheriff after the death of the mayor of the particular silo she is in which means that she is supposed to look at disintegrating the structure and the society that depends on it.

What to Expect from Silo Season 2

1. Broadening the Perspective of the Silo

Season 1 was mainly focused on deeper insight into workings and lives of people in the silo. Season 2 will continue to try and grow that world and explain the secrets of the external shell of the silo and the fundamental truth about what exists beyond it all.

While watching Juliette’s investigations, viewers can look forward to even more of the sights beyond the silo, which has become one of the major mysteries.

Will Juliette ever have the opportunity to delve into the outside world in some detail? This is one of the biggest questions that the show is likely going to answer as soon as Season 2 comes out.

New Locations could also be introduced, including extra levels in the silo which are yet to be unexplored and for most novice, new faces in apart from the factions or survivors in the Silo. With all the richness of the show’s setting, and all the details that have been paid to it, fans can only hope that the new season will give a significantly larger vision of the dystopian world.

2. How Juliette Changed

Juliette Nichols is a woman fighting for justice and, the thirst for the truth accompanied by Rebecca Ferguson in one of the show’s most powerful aspects.

By Season 2, the character development of this lady should be very interesting seeing her discover more and more terrible things concerning the silo. Since Juliette has established why the silo was designed this way and is already grieving for the loss of her family, she will definitely be faced with more moral dilemmas as she continues investigating the conspiracy.

Juliette’s role, positioning in relation to power and morality and her role in leadership is something that has to do with the upcoming season for sure. This new position makes her have more work than ever before and that should put her on a collision course with other strong characters within the silo.

3. New Faces And Wars Of Positions

Season 2 will bring new characters into the show, could, and possibly change the flow of the plot dramatically. These characters are inmost, they may be new authority, rebel group of people of outsiders who have perceptions about the fact that is hidden in the silo.

Inevitably, the relations between these new hierarchical roles and the old-timers will cause tension, which in turn will force a redistribution of power within the silo. The situation where Juliette gets deeper into her role she will start having problem with people who do not want change – which forms the basis of conflict, which moves much of the season.

4. The Rise of the Resistance

During Season 1, we were offered glimpses of mutiny against the regime that the silo represents, having characters like Marnes (Will Patton), who serves as Juliette’s ally. This defiance might have been hinted in season one but in season 2 will probably be best depicted as they support Juliette’s cause to reveal the truth.

Internally and externally, new partnerships may emerge as players behold higher risks within the existing structure of the silo. We might also witness Juliette draw an ethical line and conflict with choices she has to make in terms of how far she wants to go to defend the people of the silo and whether or not to believe those individuals who say they are fighting for the good of humanity.

5. The Outside World Controversy

One of the key concerns in Silo is what exists outside the large storage structure. The Villain: Cochise: In a post-apocalyptic world, the horrors of going outside have manifested in death Season 2 may deconstruct the real world. Are these conditions outside the silo as bad as the government of the silo wants its people to believe they are? So there can be a different reality altogether, non of that which the psycho has depicted.

What fans want to see in season 2

While watching Silo, it is probable to think of certain expectations fans of any other show would have for a new season of aired program. Some of the most anticipated developments include:

  1. Deeper World-Building: People looking forward to learning more about the inner structure of the silo and the process of its construction as well as the team that has been working on it.
  1. The Unraveling of the Conspiracy: Season 1 established a HUGE overarching conspiracy and the fans want to see how that plays out. Will Juliette discover who is in charge of the silo and why this person controls the population as they does?
  1. Character Growth: Juliette’s character arc is something more important to the show than anything else. It is assumed that there will be deep changes in the character as a new challenge and relationships will appear before her as a powerful person.

Conclusion

Exceeded by intricate compositions pertaining to the charades and sequences in its world, Silo Season 2 looks forward to have similar suspense equivalent to the first season. As a result, fans expect more turns, more focusing on the characters as individuals, and more development of what is known about the silo.
